Planned Parenthood Action Fund Endorses Paul Hodes

Manchester (NH) – Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) announced the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, the political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, endorsement of Congressman Paul Hodes for United States Senate. An endorsement from the Planned Parenthood Action Fund signals to thousands of New Hampshire supporters that Congressman Hodes is proven leader who will advocate for our interests. The Action Fund is committed to ensuring that family planning and reproductive health care services are available to everyone who wants and needs them.
PPNNE’s Interim President/CEO, Thomas Frank, said in a letter to Hodes, “since your election to public office in 2006, you have been a passionate champion for New Hampshire women and families. You are a leader with a proven track record who will fight for health care reform for all Granite Staters.”
A group of Planned Parenthood supporters and staff presented Congressman Hodes with the endorsement letter.
“I am proud to accept the endorsement of Planned Parenthood because I believe women and their doctors – not politicians – should make medical decisions,” Congressman Paul Hodes said. “I have led the fight to end federal funding for abstinence-only education and protect women’s access to contraception. In the Senate, I will fight to protect a woman’s right to choose and stand up against attempts to restrict access to women’s health care.”
